PAGUS DE LAGRANGE 2020

Made by Château Lagrange, composed of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon and 42% Merlot, from vines with an average age of 30 years, this wine is in the tradition of Saint Julien wines: dense, deep and round with black fruit flavours. The significant proportion of Merlot adds a velvety touch that makes it more flattering and will perhaps allow it to develop black truffle aromas over the years (for those who manage to keep some, as this wine is already delicious to drink now). 13.64€ ExVat
MADAME DE BEAUCAILLOU 2019

Made by Château Ducru Beaucaillou, unlike the Pagus, the majority of the grapes are Merlot (68%), with a small proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon (17%) and two other varieties, Petit Verdot (13%) and Cabernet Franc (2%). Typically Saint Julien in its dense, deep, round texture and black fruit aromas, it stands out a little with its subtle floral notes of violets, less typical of the appellation. 15.70€ ExVat

Domaine Nathalie Vigot
One of the smallest domain in Côte de Nuits, located in Vosne Romanee, Nathalie produces very delicate wines. She uses 100% whole bunch which makes interesting aromatic revealing not only fruits but also pepper, leather, old dry wood (not the vanilla one). Her wines are more ethereal than massive, this should please the pinot noir lovers. Minuscule quantities
